The Witches’ Ball – A Fun Fundraiser
The Virgin Valley Artists Association will host a Witches Ball fundraiser on October 21 with fun Halloween entertainment and activities.
Dottie Golden is the President of the Virgin Valley Artists Association and Chair of the Witches’ Ball Committee.
“The Witches’ Ball is an adult Halloween party that will put the fun into a fundraiser,” Golden said. “Costumes are recommended but not required.”
“The Witches Ball is a fundraiser for the Virgin Valley Artists’ Association. Former Witches’ Ball Committee Chair Christine Picor said. “It’s the second year and we hope to do it every year. It’s for adults 21 and over and the whole community is welcome. Ticket price is $35 online and $40 at the door. A person can enter the gallery or order their tickets online.“
Golden said the entertainment will include: live music from Grant Gunn and Friends, The Virgin Valley Youth Players, Lynn Craven’s Magic and the Mosquitoes will perform. There will be a costume contest and a tarot card reader will be in her trailer area.
Funds raised at the event will go to the VVAA’s general fund to keep the lights on and the doors open, Golden said.
Golden said they needed sponsors and volunteers.
“Businesses or community members can sponsor an area for example; the buffet, the magician, the costume contest…etc,” Golden said. “We will put a thank you poster next to the sponsored area and an announcement will be made. If it is a full sponsorship, they will receive two free entry tickets. It has been quite successful so far. We need volunteer helpers for installation and cleaning and TAM cardholders. »
“We are looking for sponsors for certain events,” Picor said. “We need a contribution for the buffet.”
The event will take place on October 21 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. At the Mesquite Fine Arts Center at 15 W Mesquite Blvd. For more information on sponsorship or volunteering or to purchase tickets, visit their website at https://www.mesquitefineartscenter.com/
