Chris Sutton said on BT Sport 1 (6:39 p.m., October 21, 2021) that Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks no longer looks like himself.
Sutton commented on Winks after seeing him in action for Tottenham against Vitesse in the Europa Conference League tonight.
The former Chelsea forward was not impressed with the 25-year-old’s first-half performance.

Spurs lost 1-0 to Vitesse away from home.
Sutton said of Winks on BT Sport 1 (6:39 pm, October 21, 2021): âFor Harry Winks his career at Tottenham hangs in the balance now. It’s a simple case: does he want to be there or not?
âAnd even if he wants to walk away, go show your potential suitors what you can do and that you can still play. Looks like a shadow of itself.
Disappointing from Harry Winks
Tottenham were to win against Vitesse tonight.
Even with their ‘B’ team and even away from home.
Winks wasn’t the only Spurs player who struggled, but we have to say the 25-year-old should have done better.
It was a rare start for the midfielder, and he should have done better to impress head coach Nuno.
While the England international did his best and got things done in the middle of the park, his passes weren’t always threatening and rather safe.
The Times reported in September that Tottenham wanted £ 40million for Winks in the summer transfer window amid interests from Aston Villa and Everton.
In our opinion, if Spurs are to sell Winks in January, neither club will pay that amount.
Tottenham no. 8 has only played 61 minutes in the Premier League this season.
