Harry Winks is expected to stay at Tottenham Hotspur.
The England international has been linked with a fairly significant distance from north London this season.
In October, it was reported that Tottenham – who valued the player at £ 40million – were keen to move him on.
However, The Evening Standard wrote this afternoon that Winks will not go anywhere during the January transfer window.
The report adds that sacked Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo has made him “miserable” in north London, having been kicked out of the squad altogether on several occasions.

Despite “considering his future” at the time, the Hotspur Way academy graduate is now thriving under Antonio Conte and is expected to stay.
Transformation
Winks has been the scapegoat for Tottenham fans a lot in 2021.
In April, interim coach Ryan Mason threw him past Tanguy Ndombele in a League Cup final loss to Manchester City.
But Winks has proven under Mauricio Pochettino that he can certainly be an asset to North Londoners.
And this revival under Italian manager Conte is a massive reminder of his quality.
In truth, he is absolutely looking to be reborn under the former Chelsea manager in recent weeks, a transformed player.
And the rumor that he now wants to stay at Tottenham must be seen as very good news.
