New Netflix releases coming in June 2022


Adam Sandler and Queen Latifah’s basketball drama HustleJennifer Lopez documentary half timeseason 3 of The Umbrella Academy and a handful of content from the netflix The Is a Joke festival is among the most anticipated titles on Netflix in June.

In the basketball-centric drama Hustle released June 8, Sandler downplays his lucky basketball scout who discovers a once-in-a-lifetime player. Despite the player’s checkered past, Sandler’s scout brings him back to the United States without his team’s approval, with the duo looking for one last shot to prove he’s NBA hardware.

In Lopez’s next documentary, which will be released on June 14, the global superstar reflects on her career and the pressure of life in the spotlight – with a look at her Oscar campaign for Hustlers and his 2020 Super Bowl halftime show – in the intimate documentary.

Beloved older movies coming to Netflix in June include comedies like Presenter: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Stupid and even dumber and National Lampoon’s Christmas Holidays, children’s comedies The Duff and edge of seventeenvarious Impossible mission entries, The Amazing Spider-Man and Oscar winners The Departed, Titanic and The Hurt Locker.

On the TV side, the third season of The Umbrella Academywhich will see the Hargreeves square off with Sparrow Academy, drops on June 23, while Peaky Blinders season six – the last of the series – will begin on June 10.

LGBTQ Young Adult Entries Include Vampire Romance First murderwhich sees a vampire hunter and vampire grapple with their feelings and the legacy of their families on their journey to their first kills, coming to the streamer on June 10. There is also the horror comedy anime series Impasse: paranormal park, a series based on comics by Hamish Steele about two teenagers and a talking dog who fend off monsters at a haunted theme park, debuting June 16.

Select Nickelodeon classics are coming to the streamer this month, including the first two seasons of Kenan and Kel, Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide and Zoe 101, as well as seasons two and three of All that. Other shows coming to the streamer are seasons 27 and 28 of Top of the line, the 18th season of Grey’s Anatomy and the fourth season of Legacy.

New original comedy offerings include a mix of specials like Cristela Alonzo: middle class and Joel Kim Booster: Psychosexual, as well as Netflix Is a Joke programming Dirty Daddy: the tribute to Bob Saget, Pete Davidson Presents: The Best Friends, Amy Schumer’s Parental Advisory, That’s My Time with David Letterman and Stand Out: An LGBTQ+ Celebration. Reality additions to the Netflix library in June include the second season of The floor is lava and the beginnings of Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend.
