Chelsea’s recruiting department wouldn’t do their job very well if they didn’t keep an eye on all the talented and up-and-coming players in Europe and the world, which is not at all surprising that, according to Russian media outlet Sport Express, we “watch” Arsen Zakharyan, the 18-year-old midfielder “adolescent magician” at Dynamo Moscow.
The report adds that RB Leipzig is doing the same and may in fact turn that interest into action very soon. Abramovich’s name also popped up, as is almost always the case when we are in contact with players in Russia.
At the start of 2021, Arsen Zakharyan was a reserve team player earning £ 300 per month.

Zakharyan made his debut for Dynamo Moscow last season and tallied 4 goals and 6 assists in just 16 Russian Premier League appearances. He has been deployed primarily as a central midfielder, but has also featured on the right flank.
The youngster was called up to Russia’s provisional squad for Euro 2020, but had to drop out due to tonsillitis. He is said to have a € 12m buyout clause in his contract, which is only applicable to foreign clubs, and which will rise to € 15m next summer. This contract with Dynamo Moscow runs until 2024.
To watch in the future then?
