With momentum firmly in Celtic’s favour, Ange Postecoglou will hope his side can clear Raith Rovers in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup on Sunday afternoon.

The Hoops have been in imperious form since returning from the winter break, winning seven in a row, including an eye-catching 3-0 victory in the Old Firm clash just a few weeks ago.

While Postecoglou will be keen to give some of his key stars a rest for this cup clash against Raith, one man he surely needs to release is Tom Rogic.

The Aussie is a creator who, with his supreme technical skills, can help create chances for his teammates or even let one fly himself.

Sports journalist Kieran Devlin greeted“He may not have the rhythm, and he has struggled to full fitness for most of his career, but his first touch, technique and vision speak for themselves.

“He can create that golden chance, unhook that tricky lock, break that solid defense. That’s what he does.

The 29-year-old played 255 times for Celtic since joining the club, scoring 45 goals and providing a further 48 assists, and had arguably his best spell at Celtic Park under Brendan Rodgers

The current Leicester boss has already noted: “He has an innate brain for football. You just need to put him in structure and frame to get the ball and in areas where he can hurt teams. He is very elusive. He’s so cool and calm and he moves so well. He is fantastic.

Rogic caught the eye in the recent 4-0 Premiership win over Motherwell, registering a brace and being unhappy not to score a hat-trick.

His ability to get into the box and find the back of the net, as well as creating chances for his teammates, makes him an absolute nightmare for opposing defenders when he sings and shoots.

the 51 caps The star could be the man to open the door against Raith Rovers on Sunday afternoon and help destroy the Championship side.

During this time, Ange can unearth the next Kyogo Furuhashi in this Celtic starlet…
